Videos

The Functional Emotional Movement is an approach to consciously reconnecting with your body. This page is designed to help you find the information you are looking for to better understand the FEM approach and how it could serve you. The content is organized into three sections: Body, Mind, and Connection.

There’s more content regularly so be sure to check back often or follow Baseline BodyMind on the socials.

Body
Whether to relate with and understand your personal pain or to learn more about the philosophies and biomechanics behind this approach to bridging the body/mind gap (left-brained thinkers, I see you), these videos speak to your physical body.

Mind
The videos in this section speak to your mental/emotional body. Look here to understand how the FEM approach aids in bridging your mind with your body. Sprinkled in, I share a few of my own “a-ha” moments that came to me during practice. Perhaps they will ignite in you the self-reflection they ignited in me.

The In Between
This is where it gets interesting - the space between. I find this to be true over and over again in many contexts. The greatest capacity for understanding happens in exploring the balance between two things; tension and relaxation, conscious awareness and sleep, attachment and letting go. These videos speak towards bridging the space between body and mind.
