Mental Health Practitioners
We are offering Counselors, Psychologists, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and mental health practitioners of all kinds TWO WEEKS FREE to explore our BodyMind Classes.
Baseline BodyMind is a new, body-based meditation center that offers functional movement and mediation classes, Somatic Experiencing (SE), and trauma-informed massage and orthopedic bodywork. At Baseline, we start from the understanding that the bodymind is one inseparable system and that healing from chronic physical pain, emotional distress, and the effects of traumatic experience require addressing and releasing activation in the nervous system.
We approach physical and emotional healing by helping clients reestablish and strengthen functional movement patterns that are inherent to the human body and often lost over time. This loss results in physical and/or emotional pain, discomfort, stress, anxiety, and can end in collapse.
Using a body-forward approach, we help people find their baseline – which we define as the balance between tension and relaxation. At the level of the mind and nervous system, baseline is the ventral vagal state of alertness, social engagement and ease.
We invite you to come explore the art of meeting your body at its baseline – the point at which change, growth and learning happens both physically and emotionally.
